I believe in self-learning. My knowledge is a collage stitched together from millions of creators online — designers, engineers and makers whose work I look up to.
“Known is a drop, unknown an ocean.” Failures and hard hits are the chisel blows of life. They harden and loosen you — the flexibility they leave behind is the real gift. Along the way I’ve picked up a skill set across design, code and business, and my thirst for the next thing is still very much alive.

Hit by the technology wave

Pure learning phase. Took up small assignments, taught part-time at SRM Info Tech and soaked up every book, tutorial and forum I could find.

Colourchemist Design Studio ideated

My first entrepreneurial leap — freelancing in parallel while building Colourchemist Design Studio out of a home garage.

Purasaiwalkam, Chennai
Rented a working space, ran a learning centre and incubated multiple ventures — Edmasters (education), Mymylapore.com (hyperlocal portal) and Mugil Padhipagam (publishing).

The hardest stretch
Personal reset
A series of business failures hit back-to-back. I kept learning, kept my confidence intact, and used the silence to rebuild the foundations.

COVID-19 & back to freelancing
Remote, Chennai
Lost the physical studio. The forced pause became an opportunity to re-think, re-focus and orient toward a more sustainable future.
